Timeline                                    

1978- Eat pig's knuckles for the first time. It rocks my palate and changes the way I look at food forever. I am 10.

1979- Slurp peanut soup in Colonial Williamsburg. It is the most delicious soup I have ever tasted. Mind officially blown.

1982-1990- (high school and college student) Eat a lot of ramen.

1994- Graduate with honors from Baltimore International Culinary College (finally find a curriculum at which I excel).

Start as food writer for the Newburyport Daily News (Newburyport, MA).

Test recipes for Cook's magazine; manage to be simultaneously invisible and irritating to editor, Christopher Kimball.

Write the menu for Sam Adam's Brew Pubs.

1995-2000- Contributing writer for Columbus Monthly Magazine (Columbus, Ohio).

My first batch of recipes appear in Cooking Light Magazine.

Cooler still, give birth to two ridiculously awesome daughters, Claire and Camille.

2000-2003- Move to Augusta, Georgia. Food writer for the Augusta Chronicle and Augusta Magazine.

2003- Move to Zürich, Switzerland. Travel all the time. Eat everything.

2005- Give birth to awesome, identical twins, Mimi and Tess.

Dive into the deep-end of parenting with four children under 7 years old.

Start writing the food blog, Finding Tasty.

2008- Move to County Cheshire, England. Twins go to nursery school, I come up for air.

Teach cooking classes to adults and children.

Discover Wales and a fondness for Scottish haggis.

2010- Repatriate to the USA, settling in a small college town in North Carolina.

Teach my children the Pledge of Allegiance, explain what a 'pep rally' is.

2010-Current- Recipes published in Shape Magazine, Fitness Magazine, Draft Magazine.
